Sitting Tree School and Nature Programs was registered as a non-profit organization in 2009. We have a Board of Directors who guides the direction and development of this young organization.

In the Spring of 2010 Sitting Tree was successfully selected for Trillium Grant Funding for a two year project. These dollars will help secure a strong foundation for this organization and expand its presence in the London, Ontario community. Many see the amazing opportunities that have been created here and want to assist in ensuring that Sitting Tree remains a strong organization that will serve children and their families for many years to come.

Involvement in structured nature programs plants seeds for lifelong connection and caring for the earth and the environment.  It also introduces young people to physical activities that can be continued throughout their life.  Young people involved in Sitting Tree programs will be impacted by their physical, emotional, and spiritual connection to the earth, will gain confidence through experiential learning which engages all of their senses, and will be inspired and curious about their world.
